I think it was sept…I picked up a Diana,
Well I love her, she is very mysterious, and I never really know if she is seeing that same thing as me. But we are fast friends.
We found a cozy old red felt lined camera case for her to sleep in, and I have gotten many accessories so she may express herself in ways only she can. She is good and cute and two foto's we have captured were recently chosen…

to be in Luz Gallery, "Low Fidelity" pinhole and toy camera exhibition.
It opens thursday dec 3rd from 6-8pm…and will run until dec 23rd 2009.

Rainy Day Protest

I'm not a happy gal when the gov't tries to take needed funding from a long list of things…and when it try's to mess with my creative voice and the creative collective that I so necessary to our culture, I'm gunna join in and protest. It was a calm quiet sort of stand in, the cops directed traffic around the few rowdy's that stood in the road and many folks broke that quite lunch hour of our small town with honks of agreement, and the rain poured down on us to add to our expression of gray. (even the rain wanted part)

Birthday Invitations ALMOST DONE!!




I almost have all the Birthday invites completed. I am way behind, this party planing stuff for four year old b-days is getting crazy.

I am trying to do the most super basic party, and yet it is still requires a certain level of involvement. Even a no gifts, no goody bag's, cake only birthday starts to get out of hand…Billianne really does want gifts, but I don't know how to convince her that she has so much and doesn't really need MORE!

You can't expect a bunch of adults and kids to hang around a water park without offering some sort of nourishment, so we will make platters of raw fruit and Veg. And now Billianne want's cupcakes...no biggie, but I had to mention that I thought we should have cream filled cakes, so now I will be making 4 diffrent colors of icing, and stuffing each one with creamy vegan filling.

Still I am so happy and so proud…my little girl is turning 4 and she is so great!

Big boats

I am lucky to live on the water and have an opportunity to see amazing things all the time. The other day I was driving past the coast guard and saw two Tug Boats (one of my favorite ships) Pushing a huge Freighter (another favorite), loaded with a Submarine (not as much a favorite...but cool)

My birthday was at the beginning of the month, and Buddha Bless their old little souls, they still send me a card. (their pension checks are to mini now to send the silly $25)

yesterday…bad, than GOOD!

I drive this cute little Japanese import "Subaru Sambar" and yesterday this un-observant dude rammed into my fragile little bumper. It made me so mad. I had too many things to do. (pick up the Lucy's in the square stickers, the bathroom door decals, the business cards, replenish the first aid supply at the house I do support work at, be a mom…) I am also still having guilt about my daughter going in for dental surgery…super GUILT!
I was driving down the road and was feeling so yucky…like the only thing that could help would be to drink A-LOT of wine…but that wouldn't solve it so I decided a tattoo would cure it!?…it did!!!

I decided a rain cloud with a little bat flying under it would do the trick. I stoped in at Tattoo Zoo To see If anyone had a space for desprate me…Thank the sweet world for Gerry Kramer. He is an amazing artist and a really nice guy. He created a cute little friend to fly with me on every hard day from now on…a friend to help me keep a chin up when the clouds rain down on me…Thank you Gerry…x0
ps. he uses VEGAN ink! wink, wink…

waiting for my best little friend to wake up from a nap so we can enjoy an amazing picnic,

we will set our destination on someplace close, with lots to look at…the beach I think…then pick up a bottle of wine for my enjoyment on the way home.

UK SUBS!!!

Going to see some great music tonight The UK SUBS are playing at the LUCKY BAR tonight, kinda stoked!!! my friends the FROSTBACKS are opening for them...chilly!

RPM...lost art of the album covers

The show is raising money for the not for profit Gallery...Truly a good cause, lets keep art accessible. And I think they are selling all the art for $45 each. After scrambling so hard to get the light boxes done I think I really like them...I hope somebody will enjoy them more than me...I will set them free...release them to the world...

a person would think that the beautiful sun we have been having would bring out the puffy clouds and tweeting birds inside us...well not me. Bummer felling I can't shake. I think I need to do more yoga and play "knock the blocks" with Billianne.

I had dino on the brain today..."hay, i live for that look...hay, is that all it took."

we were having one of those days...
the day started with tears...
The daycare drop of was tearful...
the not wanting to leave daycare was tearful, not just tears, but yelling, hyperventilating kind of tears.
We made it from the car...phew.
We got in the house...phew.
